Survivor. Seer. StrateGist.
I’m Ari. I’ve spent my life piecing together meaning from chaos, as a mom, a traveler, and someone who sees patterns most people miss.
I’ve worn a lot of labels: Catholic, Mormon, Buddhist; homeschooler and worldschooling parent; yoga teacher, strategist, survivor, and relentless observer of human behavior. I live with dissociative identity disorder, something I adapted to under circumstances most people never face. But it’s also sharpened my ability to notice what others overlook, and to translate pain into insight.
These days, I travel with my two cats, write about resilience and perception, and share meditation coaching online. Spirit Brat is my ongoing project: memoir, critique, and invitation to anyone neurodivergent or with mental illness to see themselves differently.
About a decade of my story is told on the Spirit Brat podcast, the 20-teen years. These are a handful of mystical experiences that were mostly unprompted, and how I processed them. The 2020’s are told in the Hot American Cesspool (HAC) blog. It is a survival story, escaping a man who said he “hunted” me, by way of using things i learned from the experiences I had in years prior.
